A influência dos valores fundamentais do cooperativismo para a efetiva gestão democrática das cooperativas: um modelo de gestão próprio para o exercício da responsabilidade social da empresa
Abstract
According to the Declaration on Cooperative Identity issued by the International Cooperative Alliance, the Principle of Democratic Management translates members’ active participation into the life and management of the cooperative. In this regard, Democratic Management stems from the core idea that each member has one vote in the assemblies. Therefore, this paper aims to examine the essence of the axiology of cooperation, verifying the effective influence of the fundamental values of Cooperativism in internal management processes. The main objective is to demonstrate the ownership of self-help and solidarity values as a guiding moral framework of the economic system, framing the backbone of social responsibility in the course of business activities. To this end, a deductive-inductive approach is used, with direct and indirect research.
