Herramientas jurídicas para la aplicación de la perspectiva de género a la regulación de las cooperativas y otras entidades de la economía social
Abstract
The social economy entities are potentially suitable for taking positive measures to facilitate equality between women and men. Its principles and values include an explicit aim of equality and social interest; In addition, its participatory and flexible structure could encourage the presence and participation in women. However, it has been repeatedly noted that the economic, social and cultural environment in which social economy organizations operate has a decisive influence on the maintenance of situations of inequality to the detriment of women. In this paper we reflect on such inequities and how the law can help fight them.
