Retos y perspectivas para el cooperativismo mexicano
Abstract
Taking into account the relevance of cooperatives in the international and national context, the challenges and perspectives that cooperatives must face in Mexico are analyzed. For this purpose, the benefits of complying with the constitutional mandate to promote the existence of cooperatives are highlighted, as well as the legal aspects that promote or limit their strengthening and expansion. It also addresses the current health situation and how the different experiences of the consumer, production and savings and loan cooperatives contribute to addressing the challenges to sustain local experiences, remaining in the market and continuing social benefits. Therefore, it is proposed that cooperatives should be the instrument of change that leads to economic and social improvements for all.
