The Legal Advice In Course Of Cooperative Identity. Potential Contributions to Cuban Non-Agricultural Cooperatives
Abstract
In Cuba, with the process of updating the socioeconomic model, new forms of cooperative work have been implemented in sectors other than agriculture. These associative forms present difficulties that separate them from the universally recognized cooperative identity; however, legal advice can contribute in this regard. In the present work, these potentialities of legal advice are explained, and then this purpose for Cuban Non-Agricultural Cooperatives is argued, in view of the cooperative principles raised by the International Cooperative Alliance and the recent legislative transformations implemented in the country to the sector.
